Binay has endeared himself to the masses over the years, and thus, has the advantage of possessing that masa appeal which could translate to millions of votes come election time.  

Disadvantage: 

However, Binay's moral credibility is perennially being questioned, what with all the corruption issues being hurled at him and his family. And this has caused people to have a very negative impression of him. Filipinos already have had enough of corruption in the government.
