YES or NO?

Leni Robredo and her camp must be so mentally stressed nowadays.

First, Robredo was heavily criticized for her baseless and sweeping conclusion that the government’s war on drugs had been a failure. Second, the Robredo camp is not sure if Leni was able to convince the public of her retraction of her earlier statement. And finally, Robredo and her gang cannot make up their mind if Leni should accept or refuse the President’s offer to let her takeover the government’s war on drugs.

In my very recent article, I mentioned that I am befuddled as to whether or not President Duterte was serious with his offer. But now, it seems that the President is indeed dead serious with his offer, adding that Robredo will be given a cabinet secretary rank as drug czar.

So far, the Robredo camp has been dishing out “beating around the bush” statements, such as that there is no formal offer yet, and that they don’t want Leni to be the scapegoat for the shortcomings of the drug war, etc.

Robredo’s antithetical statements about the government’s war on drugs, in both local and international fronts, and with the recent one declaring that it is a failure, prompted the President no less to let hear lead the narcotics campaign this time.

MalacaƱang must have grown tired of Robredo’s litany, and hence the presidential offer. The principle behind is that you criticize how a dish is cooked, then you do the cooking yourself.

So the Robredo camp must stop chasing its tail incessantly and respond to the call. Is it a YES or a NO? The government is now reaching out to you Ms. Robredo. With all your criticisms, then you must have better alternatives on how to solve our country’s narcotics menace. Share mo naman.

To conclude, however, let us stop all the whining, enough of beating around the bush, and admit to ourselves once and for all that the woman is not capable, period.
